Getting Started
Create your business profile, add your place, and import your menu in a few minutes.
Getting your place online with Morsly takes just a few minutes — and you can share it with guests before you ever verify your business.
In this guide: Create a business profile, add your first place, import your menu, and share it with guests.
Before you begin: You’ll need a Morsly account. If you don’t have one, sign up at morsly.libesent.lv.
Sign in and create your business profile
- Sign in to your Morsly account.
- Open your Profile. If you followed a For businesses link before signing in, a short welcome flow already remembers your intent — sign in and it drops you straight at this step.
- In Business Profiles, add a business: legal entity type (company, sole trader, or other), trade name, and — for companies — a registration number and legal address. Legal email and phone are optional.

A business profile isn’t a place — it’s the legal identity your places are created under. You can reuse the same profile across more than one place if you run several, and add more profiles later if you need to.
Add your first place
Creating a place requires a business profile — if you don’t have one yet, Morsly sends you to create one first.
- From My Places, add a new place.
- Fill in the required basics: name, type (e.g. restaurant, café, food truck), currency, and main language. At least one photo and an address are required too (the address requirement drops away once you turn on Mobile place — see below).
- Under Legal, pick which of your business profiles this place belongs to. If it’s your only one, it’s selected automatically.

- If your place moves around — a food truck or pop-up — toggle Mobile place. Instead of a fixed address and opening hours, you’ll set up a schedule of stops later.
Choose who can find you
Every place has a visibility setting:
- Public — listed in Morsly’s catalog and search.
- Link — not listed, but anyone with the link can open it.
- Private — only people you’ve added to the place can see it.

You can publish and share a place by link right away. Verifying your business is optional and only needed if you want to appear in public search — until then, nothing stops you from building your menu and handing out your QR code.
Add your menu
The fastest way to add items is the AI import: scan a photo of your printed menu, or paste text, and review what the app read before anything goes live. See Menu Management for the full import walkthrough and everything an item can carry (sizes, add-ons, spice level, nutrition).
Share with guests
Once your menu is live, open Share QR code from your place page. You’ll get a QR poster and a short link that always points at your current menu — print it once, and menu updates show up automatically with no reprinting. See QR Codes for styling and sharing options.
Verify your business (optional)
When you’re ready to appear in public search, open the business under Business Profiles in your Profile and submit it for review. While a submission is pending, its details are locked so the version reviewed is the one approved; you can withdraw any time to make changes. Once approved, every place linked to that business profile shows a Verified badge.

Frequently asked questions
Can I edit my business profile after creating it? Yes. Go to Profile > Business Profiles, open the profile you want to change, and edit any field.
The AI import didn’t recognize my menu correctly. What now? You can edit every item before confirming the import. If the scan was blurry or the layout confused the app, try taking a clearer photo or paste the text directly instead.
Can I have more than one place? Yes. You can create multiple places under the same business profile or different ones. Each place has its own menu, visibility, and team.
Do I need to verify my business before I can share my QR code? No. You can share your place by link or QR code immediately after creating it. Verification is only required to appear in public search.
My place isn’t showing in public search. Why? Your business must be verified first (see “Verify your business” above). Until then, the place is only accessible by direct link or QR code.
